We met up with the local guide and went for a ferry ride in the Sea of Galilee. Here, we trace footsteps of Jesus and his journey here. You can see some of them here. Capernaum, Mt Tabor.

Petra ruins+
The artist provides "personalized" service. You can grab a bottle on the shelves here, write your name/messages/etc on a paper and hand it over to the artist. He will "write" the words in the bottle with sand. Its really nice and unique. The sand he uses is 100% natural. He gets them from rocks. You can see the rocks on his workdesk too. You may see a repetition of patterns but its very "desert" theme. You can grab bigger bottle at a price. (:

Well, with time on my hands, I sure degraded into a hikkikomori.
Played Bleach Blade Battlers 2
And it was damn fun.
Watching the bankai and stuff.

Other than that, I did some soulsearching for the past 9 months.
I sure have let myself down.
And more importantly, I've let down others too.
In many many ways.

I guess there's no turning back.
I sure hope they can forgive me.

Things have changed.
I can only accept it
and give my blessings.

So be it.
I have so much to learn.

The world feels so distorted.
I feel like a emo-kid already.

And it kind of sucks.

I just feel so tired.
I don't feel like trying anymore.

Today was like the most productive day of all.
I COMPLETED ALMOST EVERY SINGLE WORK I'VE BEEN MEANING TO DO.

Teachers Day in ACJC was kind of fun.
The performances were great and the video he teachers made was hilarious!
Some of us went down to support our class in the College Bowl.
I must say, all 4 of them were great!
We played in the playground in the premises.
The stupid yellow bowl thing.
Had alot of fun there too.

Went back to BBSS today <3
Met alot of ex-classmates!
Kind of felt great meeting them.
Shared my troubles ( :x ) with my friend, it felt great releasing all of them.

I went to PEPS (Princess Elizabeth Primary School) and ended up in the secondary school next door.

One Litre of Tears (Ichi Ritoru no Namida)

Caught this series on crunchyroll recently. Heard rave reviews of this show and I went to check it out.
And, I agree. Its great.
Its like watching Romeo x Juliet. You know the ending. Its going to be sad.
And yet, you still hope for the protagonist (Aya Ikeuchi).

Okay, a show synopsis below...

15-year-old Ikeuchi Aya was an ordinary girl, the daughter of a family who works at a tofu shop, and a soon-to-be high schooler. However, odd things have been happening to Aya lately. She has been falling down often and walks strange. Her mother, Shioka, takes Aya to see the doctor, and he informs Shioka that Aya has spinocerebellar degeneration - a terrible disease where the brain gradually deteriorates to the point where the victim cannot walk, speak, write, or eat. A cruel disease, as it does not affect the mind in the least. How will Aya react when told about her disease? And how will Aya live from now on?

I think the part where Ako stood up for her sister, Aya, was great.

My heart really crushed when her class spoke behind her back.

Whenever Aya says sorry for all the trouble she caused, everyone would just smile back and say, "Its alright." But they feel troubled deep down in their hearts. Such hypocrisy.

Been a long time since I blogged.
I think I got to relax once in a while.
I've got to STOP SCREWING UP MY LIFE!
I just did that yesterday, 8/8. Not good.
Screwed up, just simply screwed up.
I need to get a better screwdriver.
A better zip for my mouth.
A better painkiller for my heart.
A better anaesthetic for my brain.
I've officially lost something that I did not want to lose.

I'll laugh at my stupidity, immaturity.

Yesterday was full of events. FUN!

Annual Awards = Melting time
BBSS moved to the holding site, the former Millenia Institute.
That means, no air-conditioned hall.
We were MELTING under the graduant's gown.
The presentation was kind of cool. Since it was the first Annual Awards to be held in the holding site.
I saw the artist's impression of the new building.
Beautiful. SO MUCH BETTER!
I think it costs 10 over million. Not sure, but WOW.
After the ceremony, Pauline and I ran around finding our teaches and took pictures with them with my handphone camera.
We had quite a trouble finding our physics teacher. I heard he is more strict towards his students. Well, okay....
We took a picture with our PRINCIPAL! Yeah!
I think shes really a great lady.
Very amiable. Friendly. Serious even.
She ended our chat with a serious tone.
She told us about the question she got during the Biology paper at A Levels.

Anddd, I learnt from Melanie (fellow ASC-ian and ex-BBSSian) that quite a few ACJC people live around the Toh Tuck area!
Not really surprising. But yeah.
Then I followed Pauline, Vivien and Melanie to Mos Burger at West Mall.
I think I love Milk Tea alot.

Spent a longgggggggg time designing the 6 pictures. I sure hope we can get them "re-printed". And even when Rachel Lim wasn't present, we did not forget her...

My marks for the tests in the previous weeks were sucky.

Life is not a bed of roses, but definitely more than just that.

Okay. So my CCA is starting tommorrow. I hope my new "bosses" don't murder me for anything. Oh, we are playing "Ju Hua Tai"(by Jay Chou) for ACJC's Open House. I wonder how it will sound like.

I just realised how fun Odin Sphere is.

Although I sucked at controlling Gwendolyn, I felt that Cornelius (The Pooka Prince) and now Mercedes is SO MUCH easier to control.

The Pooka Prince attacks much faster.

Mercedes is kind of easy to control too. Seeing her Phozon special "Piercing Shot" does tons of damage.

Okay, I must thank my brother for completing Gwendolyn's chapter. So I could advance (LOL?)

I love the game. I get to fight the same bosses and OWN every one of them.

Its more emphasis on "smart" fighting rather than smashing the square button to attack.

The way the story is portrayed is somewhat similar to Suikoden III.

Multiple point-of-views (POVs). Just that Suikoden III has 3, Odin Sphere has 5.

And they all converge at one point of time.

Odin Sphere is rather interesting. Mixing politics and romance I think.

It has rather "sappy" romance scenes. Only at the ending of each of the stories though.

The English translation isn't that bad either.

Luckily they enabled Japanese voiceovers...happiness!

I love Ingway's and Oswald's seiyuus (voice actors)!

Code Geass finally has the last 2 episodes (24 & 25) aired.

YES! I wonder how it will end.

But I'm sure it won't be pretty for Lelouch.

Its so freaking funny and weird.

Term exams are over. Its like almost 1 week ago.
I just hope that I don't fail anything, but I don't mind going for extra lessons on Wednesdays, especially Wednesday?
Okay, so I'm superbly jealous that some of my friends can play Granado Espada and I can't cause my desktop is rotting and the my laptop is not mine. The only consolation is that MMORPGs subsequently gets boring and it has been proven true.
But! Starcraft 2 is coming out next year and I so want to try it out! Definitely I can't play it on the hunk of metal that runs on Windows 98SE?!
Read reviews on Starcraft too... some say its similar to Starcraft and not much modifications
But I look forward to the custom BNET maps... Aeon of Strife started from Starcraft too!
Hah, not to forget, I finished .hack//G.U. 3! The japanese version though. Maybe because I can't 100% fully understand Japanese, I felt that it was lacking something...
Was the final boss too easy? But I absolutely adore Haseo's Xth form and Skeith's new form. Its just so cool. Not to mention, there were quite a few new additions in which I couldn't figure out. I guess I will have to wait for .hack//G.U. Redemption to come out!
Harvey Norman sells a motherboard for $999... I'm cash-strapped.
I think I have to wait for a few years before I can get a spanking new motherboard. Till then, I'm with my dad's laptop. I'm not complaining! I just hope my rotting desktop can work till then.

Time sure flies...
Right into the 'mugging' period, but everything seems so uncertain.
Especially Maths and Chemistry.
They are my main concerns...

Finally, ACCO annual concert is OVER.
That concludes our season, thats real good news.
Although I kind of screwed up some songs, I felt that our encore song was kind of 'high'. Haha, I guess we picked a real funny song -_-
And I got a huge sunflower from my friend XD and a rose from my senior. Kind of nice, hahahaha.
When the seniors step down, our section will only have 11 people left. Haha, a bit pathetic!

Anyways, the end the season means the start of my mugging season. =(
I haven't revised anything! Oh well, but I think I'll manage, some how.
PW is picking up, now that I'm free practically everyday.
But now, all I want is some sleep!

Haha, guess what, I got served by the same guy at Starbucks this morning and afternoon!
He even asked me about my sore throat! Cause I asked what drink they had was good for a sore throat this morning!

Hurray for AC! They just introduced Independent Learning! Throwing a bunch of websites and expect this pair of already myopic eyes to read through pages of articles!
But I think its cool. The websites are REAL good.
Schools kind of tough right now.
I just got back my Biology and Chemistry paper.
I'm not really satisfied with my marks, but I think it will be better somehow.
Its SYF season now, everyone in ACCO are getting tensed up.
I was kind of ready to learn showmanship.
I REALLY WANT ACCO to obtain GOLD.
But at the rate we are going, its possible, but its not perfect yet.
We're having a full-dress rehearsal this Sunday. There goes my weekends.
Although its only for the afternoon, I don't think I'll have any energy to study for the upcoming Chinese test.
Alot of stuff has happened in school in this short month.
1SC2 is the best man!

1st swim PE today...It wasn't so bad, just that it has been months since I've seriously swum, like 2 years hiatus?
After the grouping exercise thingy, I seriously felt like a dead fish or something.
Freestyle to and fro really killed me. Man, I just so weak.
I professed not knowing frogstyle, I just want to get it right, although I think it will take some time for me to get it right, considering I struggled with the form for 1 year before raising the white flag.

School's okay and probably getting proper.
Tests are coming mainly in the 4th week and textbooks are FINALLY on sale.
Glad I didn't rush to get Chemistry.
I spent like 108 bucks on Economics flat. John Sloman's Economics and O'Sullivan's. Just heard the harsh truth that Sloman's is more appropriate for H1 people >__<.
Stuff are certainly expensive here in JCs.
Just one goddamn calculator burns off 200 bucks. Its a necessity. Although I was kinda tempted to go with the cheaper alternative (Casio Graphic Calculator), guess what? All kinds of explanations are all done in TI's Graphic Calc. Plus, TI's rumored to be able to play games (?!) on. I seriously don't expect much, but Snakes would be nice =).

Really happy that I'm getting closer to the new people in 1sc2, athough I spend most time with the 'old people'.

Fun Fact 2 : Canoeing and voluntary PE has become the norm in the class.

I thought it would be cool to leave school at 1.10pm daily for 1 week. Cause its Lecture-only week.
But I was wrong, SO wrong.
Its boring. Period.
Tuesday was the worst.
At least today I won like 3 rounds of Bridge, its amazing for someone of my intellect.
Coincidentally, this week is the J2s term tests, which means NO CCA!
Plus, I found out that our class is down for SWIM PE! How cool is that ._.
At least it falls on a Thursday, not Wednesday or something, if not, the LT3 will stink of fluorine =).

Being in JC really makes me feel weird. I'm away from my usual mugging schedule, cause everything seems uncertain.
I sure hope I don't land myself in excessive tuition during JC...>_<

Just finished posting all my Spain pictures, in which MADRID has ZERO pictures posted. Maybe because I shopped too much in there. Pity I didn't take a picture of the dining table in which the whole tour group sat and dine. Pork knuckles and roasted pig were the main dish and it was the only time where I took more than 2 glasses of Sangria...=)

Toledo ++ Toledo is under UNESCO Heritage, the WHOLE city. So its kind of nice to see most of the town like it was then. Of course, there have been some major changes, but it still looks...not-like-a-modern town from afar. No skyscrapers, no metal buildings etc etc.

I like their road there, its all cobblestones...

Plus, even vehicles can drive through 'walkway', so there is no clearcut ROAD when cobblestones are involved.

Toledo ++ Sword Shop ++ I thought swords were history, only reality in Hollywood. But hey, Toledo's famous for their smithing! The swords look great, cause I've never seen anything like those in Singapore. Some were copies of swords held by famous people. Don't know if the design is real, but who cares? Other than 'western' swords, they also have 'eastern' swords. Yep! Short Japanese swords and katanas (if I'm not mistaken). These metals have heavy prices on them, so pictures will suffice.

P/S : The rapier there looks real cool.

Portugal ++ Fatima ++ Inside the Basilica ++ 3 big organs. I went to the basilica when they has Mass. The FIRST real catholic mass in my 16 years. Theres this part which kind of surprised me. The guy leading the mass said something in Portugese and then everyone started moving towards each other and kiss each other's cheeks, not direct, but the action. My mom and I were standing at the back, so we didn't expect much attention. But there was this Portugese lady who went us to us and kissed our cheeks. Of course we did 'reciprocate' her actions, but I really didn't expect anyone to come up to strangers this easily. Probably she thought we were of the same religion, which made us not strangers, despite having yellow skin, black hair and brown eyes. The whole day, I was kind of happy, so be actually approached by a stranger (for the good reasons) and I didn't actually 'stone' but 'reply' to her action.

Portugal ++ Fatima ++ One great place. My mom's catholic friend recommended her to go there, she said the aura of the place was kind of sacred and gave people a peace of mind. Maybe I'm too young to really understand those stuff, but yeah, it IS a holy place. Afterall, its one of the most famous places where Mary apparated.

The tall building on the left is Fatima's basilica, where the 3 children who saw Mary's apparition were buried.

Portugal ++ Lisbon ++ Some street, I forgot what. We had to travel by their underground train, and it was kind of cool. People were using their 'ezlink' (okay, so thats not the real name) cards and we bought 2 way tickets with the help of an operator, we went as a group by the way. It was nighttime when we realised that the large electric christmas tree was switched on, so we stopped to take a few shots. The arches were kind of pretty too.

Portugal ++ Lisbon ++ Jeronimo’s Monastery ++ Didn't spend much time here as it was closed =(. I remember it has some desgins on it that concerns sea travels...>.<. Instead of wasting our time doing nothing, we decided (the whole group) to eat the famous PORTUGESE EGG TARTS. And YES, it was DELICIOUS. The tarts just came popping out from the oven endlessly and people grabbed them when they were piping hot. Its GREAT. The cafe's (Pasteis de Belem) has great coffee too. The tart is great, they have other pastries as well...=)

Seville ++ Plaza de España ++ I remember it as some exhibition of countries and Spain was hosting it. 1929? We spent the most time at Spain's (duh). It featured all the states in the country and pictures that depict the most significant event. (1st picture's an example).

This place is really huge, even some horse rides(?!) to go round the plaza.

It was HERE, that I tasted my first and my last, strong Sangría, which is (from Wikipedia, again) a wine punch (more formally and precisely, a fortified wine) which originated in Portugal and Spain. Okay, so some couple bought a jar, cause on day one of the trip, the tour guide recommended us to try Sangría everywhere we went. It was kind of mild in Barcelona, so everyone didn't expect much...till that day. It was so STRONG! Extremely fruity and STRONG. I think if I finished the jar, it might be my last jar. As far as I can remember, I drank glasses of it in Madrid, I went very pink, but SOBER.

Seville + Church of Seville (Interior) ++ Okay, the main part where people sit down and pray. This whole thing is gold, and I believe it, cause religions can do such stuff. The whole piece depicts Jesus and his life I guess. This is is MASSIVE, HUGH, EXTRAORDINARY. Its amazing.

Seville + Church of Seville (Interior) ++ Organs, who can leave out organs in a cathedral such as this? These are large ones. All it needs is one player I think. Behind the 'gates' are seats, for whom, I'm not too sure...>.<. But, its LARGE. I bet it produces good sounds. On the side note, this cathedral houses Christopher Columbus's grave/coffin. Its grand.

Seville ++ Cathedral of Seville ++ Exterior of the cathedral. I don't think this is the front part, but its nevertheless nice. Wondering why theres so much orange and yet they are still on the tree's branches? No, its not that its too high to reach...these oranges are BITTER/SOUR stuff, not really people's favourites. But they are used to make marmalades, where they add a sugar to make it taste sweet. So, not all stuff free are exactly good.

Decided to update my blog on the Spain trip once and for all. No more backlogs. Or rather, does anyone see this blog ever? I'm starting to think this is useless, but what the heck. Maybe someday someone sees this blog and gets a rough idea of how these places look and I end up doing advertisement!
I'm staying in ACJC for good, can't go anywhere else, stuck in 1SC2, with half of the 'old' ones gone. Only 22 people! Sweet! Smaller is better. Guess what, 1SC1 has 30? Thats just too many.
Happy to say that I found good friends and I hope my stay in ACJC will be a good one. I forsee my days in ACCO as eventful? Thank you Jia Ying, Clarrissa, Meiqi, Stevie. Thanks to all my classmates in 1SC2 old and new.

Barcelona ++ Casa Batllo ++ We are poor, we just took the outsides. So if anyone interested to go Casa Batllo, you might want to pick up books in the bookstores to see what the interior is like before paying entrance fees. Do buy the headphones too, if thye have it, normally priced at 1 Euro or maybe more. It gives explanation to chosen spots/objects or whatever.

Barcelona ++ Montserrat ++ Okay, I forgot this one. A rough idea of the entrance to the chapel there. If you're curious, those brown lines shaped like a spiderweb is supposed to be a copy of Michealangelo's work somewhere and the colours have been 'inverted'. This corridor here you see is the path to the Black Madonna in Montserrat. The statue is a replica though...got lost a few centuries ago I think.

Another day in ACJC, today was like...so-so? Subject choosing today, nothing special about, except mess and chaos. KI results are tommorrow, so I'm still undecided whether I'll attend the GP lecture or the KI one. I doubt I'll make it for KI, I thought I handed in a half-assed answer. While others were scribbling (probably lit experts), I stared at the question. Only filled like, 1 page worth? So, the chances are slim, no matter how you look at it. Probably it will take a miracle for me to pass it.

My group mates, Edlyn, Charrise, were pretty excited about the dance try-outs and I heard it was HARD. God bless I didn't go. Looks like I'm stuck with CO till the O results come out. Today's 'motivational speech' by Mr Sum was pretty much uplifting for me, cause I have no hope in staying in ACJC, I might just hop over to JJC after the O results...

Yeah, I know I don't post much on this dusty blog, but its hard to keep up. So there you go.
I'll be posting pictures on this blog, but it just takes too damn long to upload one single picutre, what more of tens of pictures? I've left Valencia, Seville,Madrid,Fatimah etc etc. Its Spain by the way.

Barcelona ++ Park Guell ++ Still on the 'centre', there are seats that 'fences' up the whole area. Yeah its just one wavy line throughout. However the coolest thing about these seats is the seats itself. Sit on it and you'll feel great. Its ergonomic. That guy's a genius, he built this like years ago and already came up of this idea. This seat BEATS ANYOTHER SCREWED UP PLASTIC CHAIRS WE FIND IN SCHOOL THAT HAS WAVY BACKS AND IS 'SUPPOSED' TO BE ERGONOMIC, when all it does is to add to the pain. 100% comfort, my mom and I enjoyed it while it lasted.

Another plus point is the desgin. Due to the curves, it was practically impossible to do mosaic, thus the dude had to smash the pieces into smithereens and design what we see now. If you're curious, the hole at the bottom is supposed to drain water from the seats when it rains. ^__^

Barcelona ++ Park Guell ++ Yeah this is a cool place. Another landmark designed by Antoni Gaudi the Genius! This is a scene at the centre of the park. The park was originally desgined as a living quarter for the people, think apartments? But due to the weird desgin, only 1 house was bought, that was by Gaudi himself. Later on the park was donated to the city.
Back to the centre, the 'sand' that covers the area has a special quality to drain water out fast and water will flow down the pillars to the water storage, very cool, yes?
