Courtyard+
More of these ancient relics...

I heard this one is used for olives. To make olive oil?

Inside the church+
A glass window peering below.

Inside the church+
Its nice, warm and woody. The fence encloses a big glass window where you can see the ruins below!

Stuff on the ferry+
They sell the map and seashells?

Scenery from the ferry+
I'm sorry, I forgot.

Scenery from the ferry+
Yes, this too...

Scenery from the ferry+
Just the sun and sea.

Israel, Sea of Galilee+
We met up with the local guide and went for a ferry ride in the Sea of Galilee. Here, we trace footsteps of Jesus and his journey here. You can see some of them here. Capernaum, Mt Tabor.

Israel, Sea of Galilee+
The ferry leaves the aclove...

Israel, Sea of Galilee+
Many, many, many seagulls... I bet they know we were going to throw some bread for them.

Interior of the ferry+
Theres a map highlighting where Jesus went. I realised most of them were clustered around the sea. Makes the sea really special and you can see a lot of important buildings from the ferry. Upon request, they will play their national song. (:

Petra ruins+
The artist provides "personalized" service. You can grab a bottle on the shelves here, write your name/messages/etc on a paper and hand it over to the artist. He will "write" the words in the bottle with sand. Its really nice and unique. The sand he uses is 100% natural. He gets them from rocks. You can see the rocks on his workdesk too. You may see a repetition of patterns but its very "desert" theme. You can grab bigger bottle at a price. (:

Leaving Petra+
The sun was shining bright that day. Had to take a few shots XD, though they did not turn out very nice...

Leaving Petra+
Rock formations. People come here to study them. Local Jordanians and foreigners.

Leaving Petra+
We saw some India Indians on our way back. There are quite a few Indian expatriates in Jordan. They mostly specialise in IT and stuff. They like Petra (:

Petra Ruins+
Highlight of the day! It is the "Treasury". You can walk in and take a look, but its kind of empty. Right now, people are still excavating the site so...there may be more in the future.

Petra Ruins+
Same shot, but with a better camera (not mine though ): )

Petra ruins+
Another ruin, but I'm not sure what it is. Its a short walk away from the Treasury.

Petra ruins+
One of the stuff you can purchase here is...sand art! The artist is demonstrating his skills here. He's "drawing" a camel. Sorry, couldn't find any other verbs here.

Road to Petra+
The hotel's pretty near the ruins. The whole group had to walk to the ruins. :D

Horse Carriage+
If you're lazy, you can hop on one! (:

Road to Petra+
Some (random?) square pillar we saw. The road is pretty long so we got to see a few ancient relics (:

Road to Petra...+
Yup, there's more to be covered!

*Wipes off dust* I'm back...to post my travel photos.
This will take a while. I pray that PICASA will work its wonders.
It made posting photos unbelievably easy.
Maybe blogspot is for me. I tried livejournal and did'nt like it at all.
Is it me being a tech-dinosaur? ):
